URBAN OPEN SPACE​
FOR MULTIMODAL INTERACTION
The main purpose of the project remains on one of the most critical problems nowadays, the mobility in the big city. Therefore, the mobility proposal in Bogota city and in a key area is the main strategy of the project.
The mobility strategy involves three scales, the first one focuses on a Metropolitan level, developed through the study, diagnosis and proposal of the mobility in Bogota city. The second is the urban level, in which the master plan proposal develops the main mobility corridor between 116th Street and Molino’s River; finally, a third zonal scale understood by the intervention area on 116th Street, Seventh and Ninth Avenue, where the architectural project implants. The proposal consists of two large areas, the first one develops the metro station and services, and the second one develops the tram station area, yet articulated by pedestrian platforms.
